Products Eligible for Halal Inspection
Food
Halal food is that which is permitted under Islamic law, ensuring that the meat comes from animals that are treated humanely and slaughtered properly. Halal food is also free from haram ingredients such as pork and alcohol.
Beverage
Halal drinks are beverages that are free from haram substances such as intoxicating alcohol and impure ingredients. The production process must also be free from contamination by haram materials.
Cosmetic
Halal cosmetics are beauty products free from prohibited substances such as intoxicating alcohol or ingredients derived from non-halal animals, and are not contaminated by impurities. Their production process must be clean and compliant with Islamic law.
Halal Slaughtering
Halal slaughtering must comply with Islamic law, which includes: the animal being slaughtered is of a permissible type, healthy, and slaughtered while invoking the name of Allah.
Why Must It Be Halal?
يٰٓاَيُّهَا النَّاسُ كُلُوْا مِمَّا فِى الْاَرْضِ حَلٰلًا طَيِّبًا ۖوَّلَا تَتَّبِعُوْا خُطُوٰتِ الشَّيْطٰنِۗ اِنَّهٗ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِيْنٌ
"O mankind, eat from whatever is on the earth [that is] lawful and good, and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy."

What is required?

1. Business Owner Data
1. Business Identification Number (NIB) if you do not have a NIB, this can be proven with other documents (NPWP, SIUP, IUMK, IUI, NKV, etc.)
2. Halal Supervisor Attach KTP, Curriculum Vitae, Copy of Halal Supervisor Certificate, Copy of Decree Determining Halal Supervisor.
4. Product Processing Procedures
Procurement, receipt, storage of ingredients, processing, packaging, storage of finished products, and distribution.
2. Product Name and Type
The product name and type must align with those to be inspected for halal compliance.
5. Halal Assurance System Documents
A management system developed, implemented, and maintained by the halal inspection holder company to ensure the continuity of the halal production process.
3. List of Products and Ingredients Used
Raw materials, additives, and auxiliary materials.
